Tom joined Evergreen-Partners in 2012 with 25 years prior experience in the corporate trade industry. Tom has executed hundreds of trade programs for clients such as Georgia Pacific, Dial, Budget Rental Car, Aetna, Bellsouth and Quaker Oats. In addition to trading assets for media services, Tom helped many clients use trade as part of their procurement processes for many other services such as travel, raw materials, technology, services contracts and energy.
Earlier in his career and after a period working in sales for AT&T, Tom's initial trade experience was in the "retail trade" industry, which is where local businesses trade among themselves using a centralized exchange (i.e. the local lawyer trades his legal services to the local landscaper for a new garden). While retail trade execution is very different from corporate trade, the underlying trade concepts are similar and set Tom up for his success in the corporate trade market.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Old Dominion University. He resides in the Denver area with his wife and two daughters.
