In 2011, Bob joined Evergreen-Partners after 20 years leading the Merchandise and Asset Sales department of a New York based corporate trading company. Bob ran a team of 10 specialists doing work for a variety of Fortune 500 clients and selling over $150MM annually of very diverse assets and inventory into non-traditional, secondary channels. Bob’s responsibilities required him to find a “discreet and non-disruptive home” for many types of assets and inventories and handle the logistics for thousands of truckload and containers annually.
Bob began his career in Sales for Maytex Mills, eventually managing 54 rep firms selling programs to every major retail channel; such as, Department stores, Mass Merchants, Supermarket Chains, Drug Store Chains, Home Center Chains, Hardware Chains, Food and Drug Distributers, and exporters.
Bob’s experience in the corporate trade industry included the domestic and international selling and logistics required for: automobiles, trucks, motorcycles, watercraft, consumer electronics, health and beauty aids, frozen and shelf stable food and beverages, construction materials, capital equipment, apparel, beer, wine and spirits, building materials, sporting goods, shoes, tools, lawn and garden, furniture, chemicals, carpeting, power generators, paper products, paint, stains, varnishes, seasonal merchandise, retail gift cards, restaurant equipment, watches, jewelry, and fashion items.
